PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program has two distinct components, mobility access repairs and emergency repairs. A grant of up to $2,500 is available based upon individual need and program guidelines. New Federal guidelines dictate that each home must be assessed for the presence of lead.
Under the mobility access component, the program provides special repairs for disabled homeowners. Eligible repairs are those which improve access to the home and/or mobility within the home. Eligible repairs include:

Total gross income from all sources will be calculated for an members of the household who are 18 years of age or older and are not full-time students. Income from unrelated individuals residing at the property must be included. Income from those family members under 18 years of age who are more than half-time students will not be counted in gross income unless regular payment is received, such as child support, social security, or aid to dependent children. Interest or income received from savings accounts, stocks and bonds, dividends, annuities, other real estate, etc. will be included in determining income eligibility. Income levels and program requirements are subject to periodic revision.
